Resource Report dialog - Output tab
You use the Output tab of the Resource Report dialog to specify the format in which you want to produce your resource report. You can output reports to a variety of file formats, to the screen as a graph or table, or to the Windows® Clipboard, from where you can paste the report into another program.

To access the Resource Report dialog, right-click a report in Library Explorer and select Properties.

File format | Specify the format in which to produce the report. |
File name and location | Enter the file name and location to apply to the report. |
Output to on-screen graph | Select this check box to display the report on the screen in graphical format. |
Output to on-screen table | Select this check box to display the report on the screen in tabular format. |
Output to clipboard | Select this check box to output the report to the Windows Clipboard in .CSV format. |
Table style | If you choose to display the report on the screen in tabular format, select the type of table in which to display the data. |
Preview | Click this button to display a preview of the selected table style. |
Use custom table style | Select this check box to apply one of your own table styles to the report. |
Custom table style name and location | Enter the file name and location of the table style to apply to the report, or click the button to the right of the field to select the table style. |
Execute | Click this button to produce the resource report. |
How do I...

- Specify the format in which to produce the report in the File format field.
- Enter a name and location for the report in the field below the File format field, or accept the default that is suggested to you.
- Select one or more of the following check boxes to specify additional output options:
- Output to on-screen graph - displays the report on the screen in graphical format.
- Output to on-screen table - displays the report on the screen in tabular format.
- Output to clipboard - outputs the report to the Windows Clipboard in .CSV format.
- If you display the report on the screen in tabular format, select the type of table in which to display the data in the Table style field. Select a table style and click Preview to view a sample of the table.
- You can define your own table styles for use in reports. To select one of your own styles, select the Use custom table style check box and click the button to the right of the field to select the table style.
- Use the other tabs of the Resource Report dialog to further specify information you want to include in the report, then click Execute to produce the report.
