Name Allocation Group dialog
You use the Name Allocation Group dialog to create an allocation group that contains the resources allocated to the selected task and to assign a different allocation group to the selected task.
How to access the Name Allocation Group dialog
To access the Name Allocation Group dialog, right-click one or more tasks and select Copy Allocations To Group.
Explanation of the fields on the dialog
| Field | Description |

| Create | Click this radio button to add the resources that are currently assigned to the task to a new allocation group. Enter a name to apply to the allocation group in the field to the right. |
| Replace | Click this button to replace an existing allocation group that is already assigned to the task with another allocation group. Select the allocation group to assign to the task in the field to the right. |

- Click the Create radio button.
- Enter a name to apply to the new allocation group in the field to the right.

- Select the Replace radio button.
- Select the allocation group you want to assign to the selected task in place of the group that is currently assigned to the task in the field to the right.
