Move Bars Into Chart/Rename/Name dialog

To access the Move Bars Into Chart dialog, on the Home tab, in the Hierarchy group, click Move Bars Into Chart.

To access the Rename dialog, right-click an expanded or summary task in the project view and select Rename.

To access the Name dialog, right-click an expanded or summary task in the project view and select Insert Child Summary or Insert Child Chart, then specify the position at which you want to insert a summary group or subchart.

1. Enter the name of the bar on which you want to create a new expanded task in the Bar title field.
2. Enter the name of the expanded task you want to create in the Task title field.

Asta Powerproject creates a new expanded task in which the selected tasks are located.

1. Enter a new name for the bar on which the task is located in the Bar title field.
2. Enter a new name for the expanded or summary task in the Task title field.

2. Enter the name of the expanded or summary task you want to create in the Task title field.

Asta Powerproject creates a new expanded or summary task on the specified bar.
