Clone Rights and Options dialog
You use the Clone Rights and Options dialog to copy the selected user's access rights and user options to one or more of their subordinate users. This is done by:
- Assigning the subordinate users to the same security group as the selected user.
- Copying the selected user's options to the subordinate users. The user options that are copied are those fields that can be viewed as columns in the Library Explorer list view when viewing the Users library, by right-clicking a blank part of the list view and selecting Show All Fields.
You can copy access rights and user options to all the selected user's subordinate users, or to specific subordinate users.
How to access the Clone Rights and Options dialog
To access the Clone Rights and Options dialog, right-click a user that has subordinate users in Library Explorer and select Clone Rights and Options to Sub-Entries.
Explanation of the fields on the dialog

- Select the All sub-entries check box if you want to copy the selected user's access rights and user options to all the selected user's subordinate users, or clear the check box to copy access rights and user options only to those users that you select in the field beneath this check box.
- If you have cleared the All sub-entries check box, select the individual users to which you want to copy the selected user's access rights and user options.
- Click OK.
If any of the selected users are currently locked to another Asta Powerproject user - for example, if someone else is currently editing the user record - the access rights and options will not be copied to that user and you will be alerted that the update has failed for that user.
