Deleting summary tasks

To delete a summary task:

1. Select the summary task that you want to delete.
2. Press DEL.

The summary task and its summary group are deleted. If, at step 1, you select the whole bar instead of the summary task, then you will delete the whole bar including any other tasks on the bar in addition to the summary task.

When you delete a summary task, the tasks in the summary group are also deleted.

You can also delete a summary group by right-clicking the summary task's icon in the project view's chart hierarchy, then selecting Delete.
