Setting vertical grid lines in the bar chart

Vertical grid lines are useful because they improve the bar chart's readability. For example, if you set a grid line to appear at weekly intervals and you can see a task that extends across three grid lines, you can deduce that the task's duration is between two and three weeks.

You can set up grid lines exactly as you want them, specifying details including their frequency, colour and width. You can apply grid lines to the whole bar chart, or to specific date zone sections. You can display grid lines at specific intervals in the bar chart (for example once a week or once every other month), and also at specific dates. You can copy grid lines from one view and paste them into another view - useful if you want to apply the same grid lines to more than one view without having to set them up individually for each view.

You can turn the display of vertical grid lines on and off instantly using a display switch.
