Working with the project hierarchy

You can use the project view to rearrange the project's hierarchy in a number of ways. You can rearrange charts and summary groups in the hierarchy either by dragging them from one level and dropping them onto another, or by cutting and pasting. When you move a chart or summary group, any subordinate charts or summary groups are moved with it. You can move a chart into a summary group and vice versa. You can also use the project view to delete and rename charts and summary groups and to create new charts and summary groups.

If you have built up a portfolio of projects, you can use the project view to move, delete and rename individual projects as well as charts.

You can only rearrange the natural order hierarchy in the project view. Use Library Explorer to rearrange library hierarchies such as resources, cost centres, codes and calendars.
